Vault Contents: Reveal Your Heist Target

Vault Contents is the only prep that runs before every single Casino Heist. You hack into the camera feed using the Sightseer app, find which target is in the vault, and only then can you commit to an approach. Cash pays the least, diamonds the most — and the contents reroll every time, which is why farming this mission matters.

Walkthrough

Open the prep boardFrom your Arcade basement, select the first board and start Heist Prep: Vault Contents.
Get to the casinoAny vehicle works. Lester will tell you to use the Sightseer app from your phone — it shows you a roving camera signal somewhere on the map.
Hack the camera signalDrive to the signal location, get close to the operator's vehicle, and the Sightseer app will lock onto the casino's internal cameras. Hold the prompt until the hack completes.
Scope the vaultCycle through the cameras until you find the vault. The contents are visible on the screen: stacks of cash, gold pallets, paintings, or diamond cases.
Choose your approachAfter confirming contents, you select Silent and Sneaky, The Big Con, or Aggressive on the planning board. You cannot pick the same approach twice in a row.

Tips & Strategy

Diamonds only appear during Rockstar promotional events. Check the GTA Online Newswire before farming for them.
If you do not like what is in the vault, you can cancel the heist setup and start over for another $25,000.
Vault contents reroll on a fresh setup, so cash is never your only option for long.

Cash pays up to $2.11 million. Artwork pays up to $2.35 million. Gold tops out at $2.58 million. Diamonds reach $3.62 million when active.

How often can I reroll the vault?

Every time you cancel and restart the heist. The $25,000 setup fee is the only cost, and contents always reroll.

Are diamonds in the vault right now?

Diamonds only appear during special events. Outside events, you will get cash, gold, or art.
